Kapstadt war das Ziel!
Die 3.5 Mio Einwohner zählende Stadt lockte mich nicht mit der Flussball WM, dem Tafelberg oder leckerem Wein sondern mit einem Schatz! Micha landete nach seiner 2.5 monatigen Antarktis Cruise in Kapstadts Hafen...
...und so nutzen wir die Gelegenheit die Südafrikanische Metropole und die nahe gelegenen Rocklands zu besuchen. Neben einigen Tagen in Kapstadt, an welchen wir zusammen mit anderen Ex-Antarktiscruislern Café tranken, Indisch essen gingen und den Tafelberg erklommen, verbrachten wir den Hauptteil unseres Urlaubs mit Bouldern, Essen kochen, Essen und Schlafen in den Cederberg mountains. Unser gemütlicher Campingplatz auf der Parkhyus Farm lag mitten im Bouldergebiet...
...und so mussten wir nur ab und zu unseren kleinen Hyundai Spark über den 905m hohen Parkhuis Pass...
...nach Clanwilliam zum Einkaufen oder in eines der anderen traumhaften Bouldergebiete quälen. So ergab sich auch nur eine kleine Auswahl an Boulderfotos, dafür aber an spektakulären Felsen!Warm up with vista:
